Pam got her start at the Wilson County News in October of 2005 as a proofreader. She helps in the proofreading department writing last-minute headlines on Mondays. During the week Pam works in customer service and specializes in promotions and projects.

After retiring from teaching where she taught journalism for 32 years, Pam finds it very interesting to see journalism at work in a small town. Pam says the favorite thing about her job is the people and being connected with a small-town newspaper.

Outside the WCN office Pam enjoys going to garage sales to find "stuff." She is an avid collector of "stuff," especially Elvis memorabilia. She also finds time to read, garden, and travel.

Pam resides in Karnes City with her husband Jerry. They have a daughter who lives in Phoenix.
