Reporter Pat Kopecki joined the Wilson County News in 2008. A Wilson County native, she graduated from Stockdale High School and has been in the newspaper business for eight years.

When not chasing an ag story or covering a Stockdale city council meeting, Pat lives and works on the Triple K family farm in Denhawken, where she keeps up with the bookkeeping and farm records of the cattle/farming operation. She has played the organ at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Stockdale for 30 years and is involved in a number of church activities.

“I really enjoy returning to my ‘agricultural roots’ and working with people who share their agricultural interests. At the same time, it is important to update farmers and ranchers on important issues that could affect their way of life. I also like the unity with my co-workers at the WCN who work as a team to put out the paper each week,” Pat said.
