Been there, done that
is exactly what Rebecca Rodriguez has done while employed at Wilson County News. Rebecca joined the staff of WCN in June 1998 on a part-time basis as an administrative assistant.
Within no time Rebecca came on board as a full-time employee.
Rebecca has shifted roles over the past couple of years at WCN from an administrative assistant, to the classified ad manager, and to commercial print editor and design specialist. With her most recent role at WCN, she works closely with the design team contributing her creativity and skills. If you see a unique ad in the newspaper that is simple, yet stunning--theres a big possibility that Rebecca was the mastermind behind it.
Not only can Rebecca design an outstanding ad, she can also spice up any printing job--- big or small.
Rebecca is a Floresville native and is married to Beto Rodriguez. Beto works at Dittmar Lumber in Floresville. He also does odd jobs for customers and other people on his days off. Lately hes been installing a lot of windows. He also does some glass repairs, painting, and light carpentry.
