Staff Writer William J. Gibbs Jr. resides north of Floresville with his wife, Cristina, and their Rottweiler mix, Lexington “Bubba” Kentucky. He is a member of Congregation Beth Messiah of Floresville.

Will, as he is known by his friends and colleagues, moved to Wilson County in June and is a native of southern New Jersey. He holds a B.A. in English-Creative Writing with a minor in journalism from Montclair State University.

“We have a close-knit team here at the Wilson County News,” Will said. “We’re almost like a family, in the way that everyone is always helping their coworkers be at their very best.” Will enjoys cooking, watching the Giants, Knicks or Yankees on TV and anything dealing with cars (especially Fords). He also likes collecting Hot Wheels and Matchbox die-cast toy cars.
